wedding planning tips (part8)

Flowers

Wedding flowers are a must to decorate your wedding ceremony and reception. The type of wedding flowers and colours that you decide to choose will be key and play a big role in your day.

Not only will you need wedding flowers to decorate your ceremony and reception but you will need a stunning bouquet to hold as you walk down the aisle, your bridesmaids will also need a bouquet to carry Plus button holes to distribute throughout your wedding party, including the groom. These can be arranged by a florist, but again you may have a friend with an artistic touch.

Dependant on the venue, have table flowers either very high or low, not at eye level, else you cannot see the person you are talking to, on the opposite side of the table. The florist will be able to advise you on different types of flowers and blooms that will be available during the season in which you choose to marry. so choosing a colour scheme for your wedding day before you visit a florist is advisable. When it comes to choosing your bouquet go for something that you will feel comfortable holding as you walk down the aisle. A bouquet that is too big, or too small, may not suit the overall style of your wedding.  Your wedding flowers can also be incorporated into decorating your wedding reception via your wedding tables buffet table and the table where your wedding cake will sit.

I hired the caterer for my friends wedding. I had never done something like that before, so I wasn’t sure where to start. I had a hard time getting it all together, I wish I would have read this before! It would have helped so much!
